About Sveafastigheter
Alongside ordinary rentals, Sveafastigheter lets student homes in several university towns, plus parking spaces and storage. The company is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. New-build is mainly in the Stockholm region, but the stock sits in growth regions across the country. Sveafastigheter write that they have no housing queue of their own: vacant homes are let through HomeQ. You create an account there, register interest, fill in income details and approve a credit check. You can also register as an applicant on Mina sidor. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.
The queue does not work like a municipal housing agency. You get no numbered place and there are no queue points to collect. When the application window closes, Sveafastigheter review every HomeQ application, and among those who meet the letting principles the home is allocated. They publish no ranking by queue time. You must be 18, able to prove identity and a regular income, and you may hold only one first-hand contract. The contract holder must live in the home. A credit check is run on applicants who may be in line for an offer, and the letting team take landlord references before an offer is made.
Sveafastigheter publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the location, the size of the home and how many others apply for the same one. They give no exact figure in months. They also publish no requirement to log in at set intervals, and they do not say what happens to the registration when you sign a contract.
