Stubo housing queue

Stubo is Ulricehamn Municipality's housing company and lets 1,068 homes in eight towns in the municipality: Ulricehamn, Blidsberg, Dalum, Gällstad, Hökerum, Marbäck, Nitta and Timmele. Alongside ordinary rentals they let parking spaces and storage. You register interest in the same way as for apartments, and the spaces go first to their tenants by queue points. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue runs on points. You earn one point per day from the day you register. The points are personal and cannot be transferred. When a home falls vacant you register interest. In at most four listings at a time, and among the applicants who meet the letting policy, the viewing offer goes to the one with the most points. Stubo require that you have no payment defaults or outstanding debts, and that your disposable income at least matches Kronofogden's reserved amount. It is not a municipal housing agency with a numbered place, but the points count from the day you join. That is why registering early is worthwhile, even before you start looking.

Stubo publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the area, the size of the home and how many applicants with more points apply for the same one. They publish no exact figure in months. To keep your points you need to log in to Mina sidor and save your details at least once a year. When you sign a contract the points reset, and you are blocked from applying for a new home for six months.
