The queue runs on points. You earn one point per day from the day you register as an applicant, and there is no other way to collect more. The points are personal and cannot be transferred, except on death or when a spouse or partner moves into care housing. When a home falls vacant you register interest on Mina sidor. Listings stay open for five days, and you can have at most three applications at once. Among those who meet the letting rules, viewing and the contract go to whoever has the most points. It is not a municipal housing agency with a numbered place, but the points count from the day you join. That is why registering early is worthwhile, even before you start looking.
