About Partillebo

Partillebo is owned by Partille Municipality and lets around 4,000 apartments in the municipality, east of Gothenburg. Alongside ordinary rentals there is sheltered housing, around 150 apartments in a separate queue from age 70. Parking spaces, garages and motorcycle bays are applied for through Mina sidor, but only if you already rent a home from them. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue runs on points. For external applicants, queue time counts from the day you register on Mina sidor, and among those who meet the letting policy the offer goes to whoever has the longest wait. Roughly half of vacant homes go to current tenants, the rest to external applicants. You can have up to five active interest registrations, and when the listing closes three to five people with the most points are offered a viewing. In some cases homes are published on Boplats Göteborg, and then their queue rules apply. You can join the queue from age 17, but you must be 18 to sign a contract. It is not a municipal housing agency with a numbered place, but the points count from the day you register. That is why joining early is worthwhile, even before you start looking.

Partillebo publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the area, the size of the home and how many applicants with more points apply for the same one. They publish no exact figure in months. To keep your place you need to update the registration at least once every twelve months, or you are removed from the queue and have to register again. If you decline or ignore three offers within 12 months you are blocked for a year, but you keep your points. When you sign a contract the points reset from the day the tenancy starts, including in the sheltered-housing queue if you are in both. Existing tenants can apply for a new home only after 12 months in the current one, and then queue time counts from the current contract date.
