Mannersons housing queue

Alongside ordinary rentals in Linköping, Norrköping and Motala, Mannersons have senior housing at Ekoxen Seniorcenter in central Linköping, for residents aged 55 to 70, plus parking spaces, garages and storage. Everything is applied for through the same Mina sidor registration, and registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue does not work like a municipal housing agency. You get no numbered place and there are no queue points to collect. When a home falls vacant you register interest, and Mannersons make an overall assessment to match the right person to the right home. They aim for a mixed community of tenants and reserve the right to freely choose a tenant among those who meet Mannersons' letting policy: 18 at signing, being able to pay the rent, a clean record on previous homes and payments, home insurance for the whole tenancy, and a routine credit check. Their buildings are meant to be smoke-free.

Mannersons publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the location, the size of the home and how many others apply for the same one. They give no exact figure in months. To count as an active applicant you need to log in at least once every six months. Mannersons do not publish what happens to your registration if you miss that, nor what happens to it when you sign a contract.
