Leny housing queue

Alongside ordinary rentals, Leny lets parking spaces, storage units and commercial premises. The stock sits in ten towns in Skåne, including Sjöbo, Hörby, Ystad, Blentarp, Skurup, Veberöd and Staffanstorp. Everything is applied for through the same Mina sidor account. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue runs on points. Vacant homes are listed on the website for at least five days, and you register interest yourself on Mina sidor. Among those who have registered interest, applicants are ranked by queue time: the highest points equal the longest time in the queue. Anyone offered a viewing must reply within three days, or it counts as no. Leny also reserve the right to freely offer a home and choose the tenant. Priority can be given to someone who already lives in one of Leny's homes and whose household has changed size. Medical grounds do not give priority. They run a credit check, do not accept payment defaults and require good references from a previous landlord.

Leny publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the location, the size of the home and how many applicants with longer queue time apply for the same one. They give no exact figure in months. To stay registered you need to log in to Mina sidor at least once every three months, or you are removed and have to register again. When you sign a tenancy you are automatically removed as an applicant. You can register again once you have moved in, but you cannot apply for another home with Leny for the next 12 months. Decline or fail to respond three times. To a viewing offer, after a viewing, or after accepting a home and then not signing, and you are deregistered.
