About Lecab Fastigheter
Lecab Fastigheter lets 375 student apartments in Karlstad, split between Lecab Plaza (259 homes) and Union (116 homes), both next to Karlstad University. The apartments are unfurnished, from one to three rooms plus kitchen. This is a student housing queue, and registering is free. There is no annual fee.
The queue does not work like a municipal housing agency. You get no numbered place and there are no queue points to collect. Instead you register, add an approved guarantor and upload a study certificate. A letter of admission or a Ladok extract, valid for six months. Only once Lecab have processed that can you register interest, and only in one home at a time. Decline more than three times, or fail to reply, and you may be blocked from applying for a period. Lecab publish no ranking by queue time or points.
Lecab Fastigheter publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the size of the home, the building and how many others apply for the same one. They give no exact figure in months. To keep the application active you must log in at least every six months, or your details are deleted.
