Landskronahem housing queue

Landskronahem is owned by the City of Landskrona and lets around 2,700 rental homes in Landskrona Municipality, including ordinary apartments, terraced houses, housing for people aged 65 and over, and co-housing. Alongside that, parking spaces, vehicle spaces and storage are applied for through the same applicant account. Some homes are listed as Genvägen: first come, first served, without queue points, as long as you meet the letting policy. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue runs on points. You earn one point per day from the date you register, and the points are personal. They cannot be transferred or pooled. When a home is published it stays up for 3-8 days. You register interest, and the three to five applicants who have been in the register longest and registered interest get a viewing offer. Among those who meet Landskronahem's letting policy: 18 or over, documented income (wages, a pension, unemployment benefit or student finance), rent at most one third of gross income, no serious payment defaults and no debts to Landskronahem. The contract goes to whoever has the most points. You must have attended the viewing to accept. It is not a municipal housing agency with a numbered place, but the points count from the day you join. That is why registering early is worthwhile, even before you start looking.

Landskronahem publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the area, the size of the home and how many applicants with more points apply for the same one. They publish no exact figure in months. To keep your points you need to log in to Mina sidor at least once every six months, or the search points reset and you are removed as an applicant. When you are allocated a home the points reset and the application is deleted. You can register again once the new contract starts, but you cannot be offered a new apartment contract until at least 12 months have passed. The fifth time you say no or do not reply to an offer within a 12-month period, the points reset in the same way.
