Klarabo housing queue

Alongside ordinary rentals, Klarabo lets parking spaces and garages. The stock sits in around twenty towns from Trelleborg in the south to Östersund in the north, with Visby on Gotland. Everything is applied for through the same Mina sidor account. You may have at most five active interest registrations at once. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue does not work like a municipal housing agency, and Klarabo have no general housing queue. In most towns you register interest when a home falls vacant; when the application window closes the letting officer reviews the applications and invites a number of applicants to a viewing. Visby, with 885 homes, is the exception: they run a housing queue there, you collect queue days from the day you register, and they make no exceptions from that queue. The letting policy says homes are let continuously in turn order among those who meet the requirements. A home may be lived in by at most two people per bedroom. You cannot buy your way past the queue.

Klarabo publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the location, the size of the home and how many others apply for the same one. They give no exact figure in months. To stay an active applicant you need to log in to Mina sidor at least once every six months, or you lose the profile and the queue days you have collected in Visby. Klarabo do not publish what happens to the queue days when you sign a contract.
