Jefast housing queue

Alongside ordinary rentals in central Helsingborg and Höganäs, Jefast lets parking spaces and garages. Everything is applied for through the same Mina sidor registration, and registering is free. There is no annual fee. Jefast is a private landlord that has developed and managed homes and premises in north-west Skåne since 1977.

The queue runs on queue days. Vacant homes are listed on jefast.se for about a week. You register on Mina sidor, set your preferences and register interest. Among the applicants who meet the letting policy, the one or ones with the most queue days are offered a viewing. You cannot improve your application by calling or emailing. Selection is automatic. It is not a municipal housing agency with a numbered place, but the queue days count from the time you have been in the queue. That is why registering early is worthwhile, even before you start looking. To rent you need to be of age and have a Swedish personal identity number. Jefast always make an individual assessment for each home.

Jefast publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the location, the size of the home and how many applicants with more queue days apply for the same one. They publish no exact figure in months. To keep the registration active you need to log in to Mina sidor at least once every six months. Jefast do not publish what happens to your queue days if you miss that, nor what happens to them when you sign a contract. If you already live with them you need to have stayed at least 12 months before you can apply for another home with them.
