Hässelby Hem housing queue

Alongside ordinary rentals, Hässelby Hem lets parking spaces and garages. Vacant apartments, parking spaces and garages are applied for through the same Mina sidor registration: you create an account, browse vacancies and register interest. Bostadsförmedlingen i Stockholm also lets rental homes on Hässelby Hem's behalf, but Hässelby Hem do not publish how the stock is split. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue does not work like a municipal housing agency. Hässelby Hem do not rank by queue time. You get no numbered place and there are no queue points to collect. Your application goes into an interest bank for each home you apply for. They do not use a strict queue system, and they have no priority schemes. Among applicants who meet the letting requirements they make a selection based on the whole picture and on a long-term fit: the mix of tenants in a building, plus size and cost. They reserve the right to choose the tenant.

Hässelby Hem publish no average queue time. Because they do not rank by queue time they cannot say how long it takes before you get a home, or whether you will. How long it takes depends on which home you apply for and how many others register interest. They publish no exact figure in months. To keep the applicant account you need to log in at least once every twelve months: personal data is kept for twelve months from the last login, plus three months during which they ask if you still want the account, or it is deleted. You need to have attended the viewing to be offered the home. Sending someone in your place is fine. Hässelby Hem do not publish what happens to the registration when you sign a contract. They have no internal swap queue: as a tenant you need to find someone to swap with yourself.
