Flens Bostad housing queue

Flens Bostad, Flens Bostads AB, is owned by Flen Municipality and lets around 1,750 rental homes in Flen, Malmköping, Hälleforsnäs and Mellösa. Alongside ordinary rentals they have youth apartments, service apartments and terraced-style homes, and also let parking spaces, carports and garages. You can normally only queue for a parking space if you already live with them. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.

The queue runs on points. You earn one point per day from the day you register, and that applies to both new applicants and current tenants. Among the applicants who meet the letting policy, viewing is offered to the five with the most points, and if more than one of them wants the home the contract goes to the one with the most points. Flens Bostad publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the area, the size of the home and how many applicants with more points apply for the same one. To keep your points you need to renew your application at least once every six months, or you lose your place in the queue. When you sign a contract the points reset to zero. You can start collecting new points the next day if you reactivate your profile on Mina sidor, but you may not apply for a new home until six months later.
