About Derome Fastighet
Alongside ordinary rentals, Derome Fastighet lets parking spaces, garages and storage units. You do not need to be a tenant to apply for them, and everything is registered through the same Mina sidor account. Registering is free. There is no annual fee.
The queue does not work like a municipal housing agency. You get no visible numbered place, and Derome Fastighet do not publish how long your queue time is. Ordinary apartments are let by queue time among applicants who meet Derome Fastighet's letting policy: a regular income that covers the rent, no payment defaults or debts with Kronofogden, and no disturbance cases with a current landlord. When a home falls vacant you register interest on Mina sidor. Direktlägenheter are the exception. They are advertised for a quick move-in, and five randomly chosen applicants are offered a viewing. Longest queue time is not what decides those.
Derome Fastighet publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the location, the size of the home and how many others apply for the same one. They publish no exact figure in months. To keep your search time you need to log in to Mina sidor at least once a year, within 365 days. Or the account is deleted and the search time cannot be restored. When you sign a contract the search time resets and you are removed from the queue; you can register again about a week later. As a tenant you can get extra points, but you must have lived there for at least a year and a half before you may apply for another home with them. If you do not reply to a viewing offer you are blocked for six months.
