About AllboHus
Alongside ordinary rentals, AllboHus lets senior apartments for people aged 55 and over, plus parking spaces. Everything is applied for through the same Mina sidor account, and registering is free. There is no annual fee.
The queue runs on points. You earn one point per day in the queue, and you can see the balance on Mina sidor. When a home falls vacant you register interest, and among the applicants who meet AllboHus's letting rules, the five with the most points are invited to view it. If more than one says yes, the contract goes to whoever has the most points. The points count from the day you join. That is why registering early is worthwhile, even before you start looking.
AllboHus publish no average queue time. How long it takes depends on the home, the area and how many applicants with more points apply for the same one. To keep your points you need to log in at least once every twelve months, or they are lost and the profile is deleted. When you sign a contract the points are deleted and you start from zero again. You have to reactivate yourself in the queue to collect points. If you already have a tenancy with AllboHus you must have held it for at least 12 months before you can apply for another home.
