Overview of the Family Account

How do family accounts work?

With a family account, you can add family members and manage their queue positions through a main account. The age limit is 0 years, meaning you can add a child as soon as they have received a personal identity number.


Scheduling feature for younger children: If your child does not yet meet the age requirement for a specific queue, you can use the scheduling feature. Dibz will automatically register the child on the day they reach the required age.

What is the main account in a family account?

The main account holds the subscription, manages payments, and administers all sub-accounts. You can invite family members and manage their accounts.

Managing Family Members

My child has moved out — what happens then?
When your child moves out, you can continue managing their account as long as it remains part of the family account. If the child wants to manage their own queues, they can create their own account. You can also remove them under Manage Accounts.

How do I manage my child's account?

  1. Create or upgrade to a family account.

  2. Add the child under Account settings.

  3. Select the child’s profile to manage “Add queues for your child.”

  4. Navigate and manage the child’s account just like your own.

  5. Under Account settings, you can complete their profile, update settings, and add more family members.

How do I remove a family member?

  1. Go to Account settings.

  2. Click the trash-can icon.

  3. Check all boxes.

  4. Confirm removal.

Permissions and Age Restrictions

My child is not old enough for certain queues — what should I do?

Use the scheduling feature to automatically register the child once they reach the required age.

What statuses can a sub-account have?

Active – the account is active.
Invited – invitation sent, not yet accepted.
Expired – invitation has expired, can be resent.

Queue Management for Sub-Accounts

Do you have to accept apartments when you reach the top of the queue?

No — Dibz only collects queue points. You must actively apply through the expression-of-interest process for actual offers.

Which areas should I choose for my child?

University cities (Stockholm, Uppsala, Gothenburg, Lund, Umeå, Linköping) and areas near your current home.

Invitations and Membership

Can I invite all my family members?

Yes — add children, siblings, parents, and grandparents to increase your chances.

Can I add non-family members?

Yes — a partner, close friend, or relative can be added.

Upgrading to a Family Account

How do I upgrade a single account to a family account?

  1. Go to Account settingsAdd more family members,
    or

  2. Go to PaymentEdit to upgrade.

What happens to other users’ accounts when upgrading?

• Their own accounts are paused until reactivation.
• Refunds for prepaid months may be granted.
• Once the upgrade is complete, you can start sending invitations immediately.
