Paid housing queues
What is a paid housing queue?
When you register for a paid housing queue, you typically pay an annual or monthly fee. As long as you continue to pay, you keep your place in line and continue to build up queue time.
If you fail to pay on time, your place may be paused or removed, which means you will lose your accumulated queue time.
Purpose of paid housing queues
The purpose of paid queues is to create an efficient and fair system for housing allocation.
The fee helps cover the operation, maintenance, and customer service of the housing agency, while ensuring that only active applicants remain in the queue.
Common rules
The fee is usually paid once per year, but in some cases, it may be monthly.
If you don’t pay on time, you risk losing your place in the queue and all accumulated queue time.
Paid queues are often digital, allowing you to log in and check your position, payment status, and available housing offers.
Some paid queues offer benefits for long waiting times, such as priority access to certain apartments.
Paid queues require a separate annual fee that you pay directly to the housing queue — not through Dibz.
Managing paid queues in Dibz
If you are already registered in a paid housing queue, it’s best to manage it outside of Dibz, as your direct payment to the housing provider secures your place in the queue.
You pay the fee directly to the housing agency, and invoices are sent separately from Dibz.
Leaving a paid queue
If you no longer wish to remain in a paid queue, you can simply ignore the invoice.
You will then lose your place in the queue, but you have no further payment obligation.
