Housing queue

What is a housing queue?
When you join a housing queue, you are registered with a date or a queue number that shows how long you have been in line. The longer you stay in the queue, the better your chances of receiving a housing offer. When an apartment becomes available, it is offered to the person with the longest waiting time who also meets any specific requirements, such as income level or membership.
Purpose of housing queues
The purpose is to ensure fairness, transparency, and order in the allocation of housing. A queue system guarantees that all applicants are treated equally and that no one is given preferential treatment on unfair grounds.
