Senior queue
What is a senior queue?
A senior queue works similarly to a regular queue but is reserved for people above a certain age - often 55, 60, or 65 years old. Those who meet the age requirement can register for the queue and are assigned a position based on their registration date or queue number.
Purpose of senior queues
The goal is to give older individuals better access to suitable and secure options, such as:
Senior housing with elevators, shared spaces, or proximity to essential services.
Parking spaces located close to residences for easier daily access.
Residential areas with a calm environment and good accessibility.
How selection works
When a unit or space becomes available, it is offered to the person who has been in the senior queue the longest and meets any additional requirements, such as membership in a housing association or residence in the area.
